The Andean-Patagonian forests, also known as Subantarctic forests, spreads over steep elevations along a thin strip on both sides of the Andes, on southern South America.
The Patagonian forests can be considered a “green island”, as they have been isolated from other forests for the last 10 million years, resulting on a high number of endemism. The bees forage on many unique rain forest blooms such as Ulmo, Tineo and Tiaca trees, which are exclusive to the region.
Just as it is in the beehive, raw honey is 100% natural and unprocessed. Unlike regular honey, raw honey isn’t pasteurized and processed, therefore retains all of those healthy nutrients, amino acids, and vitamins. Furthermore, unlike processed honey, raw honey contains pollen, which is filled with vitamins and antioxidants. Enjoy the sweet nectar the way nature intended with our amazing Patagonian raw honey!
